Background
The heart behind it all is Chief Storyteller, Nina Bouphasavanh, an award-winning writer and producer. She has been producing multimedia stories for two decades, while honoring her passion for helping people.
She has written and produced content for many media outlets including ABC, H2, History, Travel Channel, HGTV, NBC, CBS, CCX Media, and Fortune 500 companies such as Thrivent, Life Time Foundation, Target, C.H. Robinson, UnitedHealthcare, and meaningful non-profits such as Faith’s Lodge, Charity Storage, and Light in Africa.
Nina has a natural curious and traveling spirit that has taken her all around the world. She co-produced a documentary in Tanzania that led her to create her own storytelling business with a focus on humanity. Africa will always have her heart.
She has written stories about homelessness, mental illness, food scarcity, loss and aging, and in her spare time, writes poetry about love and grief. I Heart Storytelling is rooted in helping people and spreading inspiration through real stories. Engaging hearts and minds is what she loves to do!
Nina is the first person in her family to pursue a career in media. Her dedication to making a difference through her work is fueled by her faith and the sacrifices and love of her parents and siblings.
Her life goal is to continue to be a good steward, to give, and to love. Nina’s writing is her way of shining light to others.
Nina also leads Be Well and Kind, her health and wellness site that inspires others to find ways to love themselves and live their best lives.
